Vida’s VxZ electric motorcycle was recently patented and it reveals much of its design and equipment that may make it to the final production-spec model. Now, Vida VxZ is preparing a Zero counterpart, which will take the name Lompico. The Zero Lompico concept was revealed in pictures only last month.
Now, the first set of design images of this Zero Lompico have been revealed. It shares many of its mechanical components with the Vida VxZ electric motorcycle. There is a good chance that the Zero Lompico will be manufactured and exported by Hero MotoCorp in India and launched in the United States.

Zero Lompico Electric Motorcycle
Vida, the electric mobility division of Hero MotoCorp, is steadily moving towards becoming much more than just an electric scooter manufacturer. By 2023, Hero MotoCorp has invested around US$60 million in Zero. The company’s strategic collaboration with California-based Zero Motorcycles has given rise to the VxZ electric motorcycle (Vida x Zero).

Last year, Zero Motorcycles had revealed the Limpico concept and a clay model in the development stage in blurry photos. Now, design images of the Zero Lompico have been leaked ahead of the formal debut, showing its fundamental design language that strictly adheres to the concept. Looking at the Hero Vida VXZ and the Zero Lompico, one can see many similarities.

For starters, both motorcycles use the same wheels and braking components as well as the same trellis frame on which these components are mounted. Other similar components include front USD telescopic forks, rear mono-shock setup, fancy swingarm, TFT instrument cluster, street-style handlebar and swingarm-mounted rear license plate holder.

Design is one element where Hero and Zero are completely different from each other. That’s because the sporty and contemporary Vida VxZ looks subtle when we put it side by side with the Zero Lompico. With bold and radical style, Zero Lompico sets itself apart. It seems to be going for a retro-futuristic design theme, which will attract attention.

what to expect?
It has a unique front-end design with a wide LED DRL signature that covers almost the entire width. It has a central headlight element and a square TFT instrument cluster above it. The fuel tank area and side body panels appear to be machined from a single piece, giving it an interesting aesthetic.

As far as the powertrain is concerned, Zero Motorcycles has confirmed that the Lompico will come with an 8.8 kWh battery pack, sending juice to a single mid-mounted electric motor, which is rated at around 40 bhp of peak power and instantaneous torque. Similar components can also be used by Vida VxZ.
