Hero MotoCorp has launched flex fuel-ready versions of its best-selling Splendor+ and HF Deluxe motorcycles. With this launch, Hero introduces India’s first flex fuel motorcycle in the highly popular commuter segment, helping to address the country’s growing focus on alternative fuels and reducing dependence on conventional petrol.
New motorcycles are ethanol-blended friendly Fuels from E20 to E85. Hero says the products have been developed to provide practical and affordable mobility solutions, while also helping reduce the carbon footprint of everyday commuting.
Prices and availability
The HF Deluxe Flex Fuel is priced at Rs 72,792 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the Splendor+ Flex Fuel is priced at Rs 82,710 (ex-showroom Delhi). Hero MotoCorp will initially launch both the motorcycles in select areas of Delhi and Maharashtra from July 2026. This is expected to be followed by a phased nationwide rollout.
Splendor+Flex Fuel Details
The new Splendor+ Flex Fuel is powered by a 97.2cc engine that produces 6.3 kW at 8,000 rpm and 8.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm when running on E85 fuel. Hero claims that it offers better performance than the standard version. Key features include:
