Hero MotoCorp’s announcement could be the beginning of a wider industry trend. With the government pushing for ethanol adoption and flex fuel mobility, many manufacturers are expected to showcase compatible products. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to introduce a flex fuel vehicle later this week, indicating growing industry support for higher ethanol-blend fuels as part of India’s long-term energy and emissions strategy.
