Honda City is set to get a mid-life facelift and has been spotted testing several times. Today, Honda Cars India Limited officially released the teaser of the City facelift on social media platforms ahead of its launch in Delhi on May 22. With just a few days left for the launch, units have started arriving at dealerships and spy shots have started emerging from showrooms.
Team-BHPian Xaos636 has posted detailed pictures of the City facelift, showing its exterior and interior. In these photos we can see two colors, black and white, and there will be more color options to choose from. let’s take a closer look.
2026 honda city fully leaked
Earlier today, we spied a white colored 2026 Honda City facelift from a dealership yard, showing off its exterior design and its rear taillights, which were seen for the first time. Now, recent spy shots show one city in white and one in black.
Currently, the 5th generation City is offered in six colours. These include Lunar Silver Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic. This makes the black color a new addition with the 2026 City facelift model and it brings a sense of privacy to the newly added sportiness of the City.
On the outside, we now get a new set of LED projector headlights with new eyebrow-like LED DRL signature. The grille is now thinner and it gets a new front bumper with more black elements to reduce visual bulk. The alloy wheels are new, but are still 16-inch and wrapped in 185-section tyres. Also noteworthy are the smoked effect clear-lens LED tail lights, revised rear bumper and integrated spoiler.
New features revealed!
On the inside, the 2026 Honda City facelift gets new features and equipment to better position the recently updated Hyundai Verna against its rivals. Moreover, rivals like Skoda Slavia and VW Virtus are being facelifted with revised equipment and aesthetics. Testing of these sedans has begun and are expected to be launched in the coming months.
Additional features that we can see with these pictures are ventilated seats with buttons near the automatic climate control, which is still a single-zone system. The center console remains the same, but gets two new cup holders and the wireless charging pad seems to have been moved higher. The infotainment screen is large and sticks out quite a bit. There seems to be more ambient lighting with the facelift.
Another addition is the 360-degree cameras along with the front camera. Interestingly, Honda’s Lane Watch Assist camera has been kept the same. So, the left ORVM has two cameras. The seat upholstery is new and perforated which allows seat ventilation. Both the City (6MT, CVT) and City e:HEV (eCVT) will be powered by the same engine with a stronger hybrid version.
