Honda 2WS India reported domestic sales of 4,84,972 units in April 2026, up 14.68% from 4,22,901 units sold in April 2025. The company added 62,071 units year-to-date. However, sales declined by 5.33% MoM compared to 5,12,303 units sold in March 2026. Volumes of scooters and commuter motorcycles continued to grow, with the Activa and Shine range accounting for over 80% of Honda’s total domestic sales.

Honda’s best-selling product was Activa, which sold 2,20,774 units. Scooters captured 45.52% share in Honda’s domestic volumes and registered a growth of 13.34% year-on-year compared to 1,94,787 units sold in April 2025. The combined Shine 125 and SP125 range retained its position as Honda’s second best-selling product, registering sales of 1,68,636 units, up 12.82% year-on-year. The Activa and Shine/SP125 together contributed to more than 80% of Honda’s domestic sales.
Among motorcycles, Unicorn emerged as one of the strongest performers with 39,310 units, registering a healthy growth of 51.09% year-on-year. Dio scooters also saw strong demand, with sales rising 31.76% to 27,083 units. In contrast, Shine 100 sales declined to 14,238 units, down 26.73% from 19,433 units sold a year ago.
Honda’s premium motorcycle portfolio delivered strong growth. CB350 sales more than doubled to 3,975 units, registering a growth of 113.37% year-on-year, while Hness 350 and CB350RS sales increased by 129.55% to 2,105 units. The Hornet 125 contributed 4,093 units during the month. Meanwhile, SP160 sales fell 13.48% year-on-year to 3,062 units. Among low-volume products, sales of QC1 were 552 units, Livo was 529 units, and Hornet 2.0 was 230 units, all registering a year-on-year decline. Activa E recorded 200 units, while CB200X sales declined by a massive 66.96% to 185 units.
Honda 2W MoM sales decline in April 2026
On a month-on-month basis, Honda’s domestic sales declined by 27,331 units from March 2026. The biggest contributor to the decline was Activa, which fell by 14.98% MoM, with volumes falling from 2,59,670 units in March to 2,20,774 units in April. Dio and Shine 100 also saw a significant decline of 13.14% and 46.15% respectively.
On the positive side, Shine 125/SP125 grew by 14.99% MoM, while Unicorn registered a growth of 14.41%. The newly launched Hornet 125 continued to gain popularity with 12.94% MoM growth. The standout performer was the SP160, which grew 514.86% MoM, from 498 units in March to 3,062 units in April. The QC1 also recorded a healthy growth of 79.22% MoM, while the Activa E registered 200 units after seeing no sales in March.
Despite the monthly decline, Honda’s strong performance in Activa, Shine, Unicorn and its growing 350cc portfolio helped the company maintain healthy year-on-year growth in April 2026.
