Since its initial launch as the Pulsar 220 DTS-FI in July 2007, in terms of design, the Bajaj Pulsar 220 has been the same motorcycle. Till now, it had the same fairing, headlight setup, clip-on handlebar, chunkier exhaust and the same iconic silhouette. This has now changed as Bajaj has updated the classic Pulsar 220F with a new LED headlight setup along with a revised fascia.
The launch price of the 2026 updated Pulsar 220F with full LED headlights is Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-sh), making it about Rs 8k costlier than its predecessor, launched in December 2025 at Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-sh).

2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Launch
If there is a list of bikes that Indian motorcycle enthusiasts love the most, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F would top that list. This motorcycle is so loved and in demand that Bajaj had to relaunch it and bring back the legend in February 2023. Even with the relaunch, Bajaj has not been able to compromise with its iconic design.
It seems that only the headlights have been changed to a full LED setup with auto-on feature. LED turn indicators were introduced in an update launched in December 2025. Hence, the only real change with the June 2026 facelift is the new LED headlights which give a fresh look to this legendary motorcycle. It should be noted that this is the first real change in the design of this motorcycle in almost two decades.

There used to be two vertically installed units that handled low and high beam with the previous model. Now, both low beam and high beam are integrated into just one projector setup, located at the bottom of this revised cluster. The DRLs are now LEDs in an eyebrow-like design.
Any other changes?
Apart from the new LED headlight setup and the revised price, there seems to be no other changes to the motorcycle. Color options include Black Gold, Black Cherry Red, Black Ink Blue and Black Copper Beige. The Green Light Copper color introduced in December 2025 has been dropped from the color palette, just as white has been dropped from the Pulsar 180.

Clip-on handlebar, illuminated switchgear, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth, smartphone connectivity, notifications and turn-by-turn navigation, single-channel ABS, dual-disc brake setup, split seat, fairing-mounted ORVMs, LED tail lights, Nitrox rear twin shock absorbers and other features continue.
Dual-channel ABS should have been welcome, but it is not. The engine is also the same which is not a bad thing. It is an oil-cooled 220cc single-cylinder engine producing 20.4 PS and 18.55 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is powered by a 15L tank and weighs 160 kg.
