After launching the EC-06 in India, Yamaha Motor India has entered the electric scooter sector. Now for May 2026, the company has increased the prices of its portfolio in India. Yamaha is attributing this price increase to some extent to rising input costs, logistics expenses and other features, which have led to higher ex-sh prices of these 2W.
Yesterday, we covered the price hike for its most popular offering, the R15. Its price increased by Rs 4,900, the highest among all Yamaha 2Ws sold in India. In this post, we will take a closer look at other Yamaha offerings that have a price increase in May 2026.

XSR 155 – Price hike by up to Rs 1,000
Yamaha’s latest motorcycle for the Indian market is the XSR 155, a neo retro version of its popular 155cc platform. The ex-showroom prices of the XSR 155 have increased by Rs 1,000. However, the most affordable Metallic Blue variant remains priced at Rs 1,49,990 (ex-sh), while the headline launch price remains at Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-sh). Other colors have increased by Rs 1,000.

Fascino 125 – price hike by up to Rs 1,000
The company recently updated the Fascino 125 scooter with a new rear design, which includes revised tail lights and new colourways. For May 2026, the Yamaha Fascino gets a price hike of Rs 1,000 only for the high-spec disc brake variant and TFT cluster variant.

RayZR 125 – Price increased by Rs 2,200
The price of Yamaha’s sporty RayZR 125 scooter has increased by Rs 2,200 in the month of May 2026. Along with the RayZR 125, the price of all four variants has equally increased by Rs 2,200. After the hike, prices range between Rs 76,960 and Rs 89,760 (ex-sh).

Aerox 155 – Price increased by Rs 2,800
Now that we have covered the price hikes of the Fascino and RayZR 125cc scooters, it is time to turn our attention towards Yamaha’s flagship scooter for India, the Aerox 155. The price of this sporty scooter has increased by Rs 2,800 for both its variants – standard Aerox 155 and Aerox 155 Version S. The latter comes with additional features and technology.

FZ-X – Price hike by up to Rs 2,800
Like the Aerox 155, the Yamaha FZ-X has also got a price increase of Rs 2,800 for the month of May 2026. The price of the standard FZ-X variant has increased by Rs 2,500 and the price of the higher-spec DLX variant has increased by Rs 2,800.

MT-15 – Price increased to Rs 3,800
Yamaha’s flagship 155cc street fighter offering, the MT-15, has seen the second-highest price hike within the company’s portfolio due in May 2026. The highest price hike was with the R15 by Rs 4,900, while the MT-15 is expected to see a price hike of Rs 3,800 in May 2026. All MT-15 variants have received the same price hike.
