
TVS Motor Company reported strong domestic 2W sales performance in May 2026, registering sales of 3,84,565 units compared to 3,09,287 units sold in May 2025. This translates to a healthy growth of 24.34% year-on-year, with an additional 75,278 units sold. Compared to April 2026, when TVS sold 3,48,545 units, domestic sales also improved by 10.33%.
TVS Sales Breakup May 2026 – Jupiter continues to dominate
Leading the company’s domestic portfolio was TVS Jupiter, which retained its position as the best-selling model in May 2026 with sales of 1,24,767 units. Sales improved 27.83% year-on-year from 97,606 units sold in May 2025. Jupiter alone accounted for 32.44% of TVS’s domestic sales.

The Apache series remained the brand’s best-selling motorcycle lineup with 53,900 units, registering a growth of 9.78% year-on-year. Its contribution to total domestic sales was 14.02%. TVS XL also performed impressively and maintained its popularity in rural and semi-urban markets with a growth of 30.34% to 48,569 units.
TVS’s electric scooter iQube continued its strong growth with domestic sales of 42,192 units, up from 27,642 units sold a year ago. The electric scooter registered a healthy growth of 52.64% year-on-year, making it one of the fastest growing products in TVS’s portfolio. iQube accounted for about 11% of the company’s domestic sales during the month.

The Raider commuter motorcycle recorded sales of 34,852 units, showing a marginal decline of 1.55% compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, Ntorq scooters continued to perform well with 34,127 units, registering a growth of 35.40% YoY.
Ronin almost doubles, RTX/Apache 310 records highest growth
Among TVS premium motorcycles, Ronin emerged as one of the biggest gainers. Sales almost doubled to 9,481 units compared to 4,770 units in May last year, a growth of 98.76% year-on-year. The Apache Premium range has received a huge boost due to the arrival of the RTX 300. Sales rose to 1,979 units from 208 units a year earlier, resulting in a year-on-year increase of 851.44%, although it was aided by a relatively low base.
Other positive performers included Radeon, which rose 32.82% to 13,700 units, and Zest, which rose 16.05% to 9,364 units. The only model missing from the sales chart was the Star City, which reported no domestic shipments during May 2026 as against 1,886 units sold in the same month last year.
Strong month-on-month growth as well
Compared to April 2026, TVS recorded good growth across most of its portfolio. Jupiter rose by 6.29%, Apache improved by 9.13%, while XL posted a strong rise of 14.97%. iQube sales increased by 13.44%, Raider recorded an impressive improvement of 19.91% and Radeon jumped 26.52% month-on-month. Apache RTX/310 also continued to gain popularity with 25.57% MoM growth.
