Bajaj Auto’s upcoming adventure motorcycle has once again been spotted testing near Pune, revealing some more details about what could become the company’s first dedicated adventure tourer under its brand. The latest test mule appears to be largely identical to the one spotted earlier this month, although these fresh spy shots give a clearer look at its proportions, riding stance and hardware package.
Hats off to automotive enthusiast Shubham Sharma for sharing the spy shots. Earlier this year, Bajaj had confirmed plans to launch Eight new motorcycles in the 125cc to 250cc segmentWhich also includes a brand new adventure motorcycle. While Bajaj has manufactured adventure bikes for KTM for years, it has never offered a purpose-built ADV under its own lineup. This upcoming model looks set to change that.

Adventure-focused design
Despite the heavy camouflage, the overall shape of the motorcycle clearly points towards adventure touring duties. It gets a front beak, upright ergonomics, a tall single-piece seat and a relatively high handlebar position. rider triangle appears Designed for long distance comfort It also provides the riders with a comfortable standing position during light off-road riding.
The test bike was equipped with a large rear top box, hinting at touring intentions. Even with the luggage arrangement in place, there seems to be ample space for the rear seat, which shows that practicality has been the main focus during the development.

Wire-spoke wheels and long-travel suspension
The motorcycle runs on wire-spoke wheels which appear to be paired with dual-purpose tyres. Depending on the proportions, Bajaj could use a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination, a setup typically seen on adventure motorcycles designed for a balance of road and trail use.

The suspension duties appear to be handled by long-travel conventional telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock setup at the rear. Ground clearance also appears generous, further cementing its adventure-ready credentials. The rear of the motorcycle has a compact tail section and what appears to be an LED tail lamp setup. The rear carrier structure looks sturdy enough to support the luggage items.
KTM-derived engine?
The biggest talking point remains the engine and chassis package of the motorcycle. Many elements appear to be close to KTM’s liquid-cooled single-cylinder architecture. This has fueled speculation that Bajaj may borrow the KTM underpinnings for its upcoming ADV.

If true, could be a motorcycle Likely to use the 249cc liquid-cooled engine from the KTM 250 AdventureWhich produces around 31 PS and 25 Nm. However, Bajaj may also develop a new generation platform of its own. At this stage, the company has not revealed any technical specifications.
Close to production?
Unlike the early-stage prototypes, this test mule appears to be relatively close to production. Most of the body panels appear to be finalized, while the seating arrangement, luggage mounting points and overall bodywork look production ready. The headlamp setup remains hidden under camouflage, although Bajaj is expected to equip the motorcycle with a full-LED lighting package. Features like Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support and ride-related electronics may also be part of the package.

Once launched, the new Bajaj ADV is expected to compete with motorcycles like the Hero XPulse 210, Suzuki V-Strom SX and the Yezdi Adventure. Depending on its engine specifications and pricing, it may also overlap with products like the TVS Apache RTX 300. Market launch expected Late 2026 or early 2027.
