Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has unveiled a new AI-powered brand film to commemorate its 30 years of journey in the Indian market. The film celebrates three decades of the company’s presence in the country, highlighting its growth through the themes of trust, pride and progress.

AI brings Hyundai’s journey to life

The new film takes a unique approach to storytelling by recreating Hyundai’s journey through the imaginative perspective of a young child. Leveraging artificial intelligence, Hyundai has reimagined key milestones in its history in India, showcasing the brand’s evolution from its early years to the latest advancements in mobility.

The film revisits some of Hyundai’s most iconic products that have played a significant role in shaping the company’s success in India. These include new products like Creta, Venue and Alcazar as well as models like Santro, Xcent, Verna, i10 and i20. It also highlights Hyundai’s shift towards future mobility with vehicles like the Ioniq 5 and Creta Electric.

Beyond the vehicles, the film focuses on the values that have defined Hyundai’s relationship with Indian customers over the past three decades. Hyundai says the story reflects the trust built through customer-centric initiatives, contribution to India’s automotive growth story and pride in progress driven by innovation and technology.

He said the film blends nostalgia with a visionary perspective, reflecting both Hyundai’s heritage and its continued focus on innovation.

The launch comes as Hyundai completes 30 years in India, a journey that began in 1996 and saw the company emerge as one of the leading passenger vehicle manufacturers in the country. Over the years, Hyundai has established a strong presence through a growing portfolio of popular products, extensive manufacturing operations, exports and technology-focused vehicles.

As Hyundai enters its fourth decade in India, the company is also preparing for the next phase of its growth. Earlier this year, Hyundai outlined plans to introduce several new products in India by 2030, including a new mid-size SUV and a sub-4 meter compact eSUV this financial year. These upcoming launches along with Hyundai’s growing EV and hybrid strategy are expected to shape the future roadmap of the brand in the country.
