The Hero Karizma XMR 250 is expected to become the flagship fully-faired motorcycle in Hero MotoCorp’s premium ICE portfolio.
Hero MotoCorp is preparing for the launch of its much-awaited Karizma XMR 250. After making its global debut at the EICMA 2024 in Milan and subsequently being showcased at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025, the motorcycle has now been spotted completely unknown as a dealership or service facility. The look shows that dealer-level training has begun, which is usually one of the last steps before an official market launch.

The latest images reveal the production-spec motorcycle in full details, which is dressed in black and black color scheme. From the front, the Karizma XMR 250 carries forward the sharp supersport-inspired styling that was first seen on the concept. It gets a prominent windscreen, aggressive twin LED DRLs flanked by centrally located projector LED headlamps, integrated winglets on the fairing and sleek LED turn indicators. The golden USD front forks further add to its premium appeal.
Along the sides, the motorcycle features a muscular fuel tank, sculpted fairing panels with large XMR graphics, clip-on handlebar and split seats. The rider triangle looks sporty yet not overly committed, which shows that Hero is targeting weekend touring duties as well as everyday utility.
At the rear, the LED tail lamp, sleek tail section, split grab rail and compact exhaust remain unchanged from the earlier show bike. The test motorcycle is also fitted with production-ready alloy wheels and road-biased tyres.

Powering the Karizma XMR 250 is Hero’s new 250cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that also powers the Xtreme 250R. The motor develops 30 PS of maximum power and 25 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle is built around a trellis frame and gets premium bicycle parts including upside-down front forks, preload-adjustable rear monoshock, disc brakes at both ends and dual-channel ABS. Hero is also expected to offer switchable ABS like the Xtreme 250R. Feature highlights include:

The unknown sighting at the dealership hints that Hero MotoCorp is entering the final stages before the launch. Dealer introduction and technician training typically occurs only a few weeks before customer deliveries begin.
The timing is also in line with Hero’s recently announced strategy to strengthen its premium motorcycle portfolio. The company has confirmed plans to launch several premium motorcycles in the 150cc-350cc segment under both the Hero and Harley-Davidson brands in FY 2026-27. The Karizma XMR 250 is expected to be the first of these launches along with other upcoming products like the XPulse 250 and additional derivatives based on Hero’s new quarter-litre platform.
When launched, the Hero Karizma Price is expected to be around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom), with the official launch likely to take place in the coming weeks.
