JSW MG Motor India is riding a wave of success with its MG Select portfolio consisting of the Cyberstar sportscar and the M9 MPV. The company has just unveiled limited production special editions with both the Cyberstar and the M9. Bookings for the special editions, called Cyberstar Couture Edition and M9 Couture Edition, have opened.
Cyberster, M9 Couture Edition
After recently increasing the prices of Cyberstar electric sportscar and M9 electric luxury MPV by up to Rs 5 lakh, JSW MG Motor India has announced a strategic collaboration with renowned fashion designer Gaurav Gupta. As part of this collaboration, MG has announced the Cyberster and M9 Couture Editions.
Recently, Gaurav Gupta unveiled his latest collection titled ‘Light Songs’ in Mumbai and the collection featured over 70 garments in multiple styles of clothing. JSW MG Motor India is the official automobile partner of the showcase and the brand’s luxury division MG Select marked the occasion with India’s first couture edition luxury vehicles.
The updates are purely cosmetic and the primary highlights are design highlights inspired by Gupta’s Serpent Infinity motif. Inspired by the renowned designer’s couture collections, there are exclusive finishes and handmade details. No mechanical updates or features and equipment upgrades have been announced with the Cyberstar and M9 Couture Edition.
To maintain exclusivity, JSW MG Motor India is keeping production limited. Only 50 units of the MG Cyberster Couture Edition and 50 units of the MG M9 Couture Edition will be offered in India. The company will announce the prices of Cyberstar Couture Edition and M9 Couture Edition on August 3, 2026. Booking for this has started.
