Reservation still available for IAS children?: Supreme Court
The Supreme Court has made important comments on reservation. Under the hearing of a case… objection has been raised to the demand of continuing the benefits of reservation to the children of economically and educationally advanced families of backward classes. He questioned whether this is necessary for those children whose parents are both IAS officers. The court said, “We will develop with education and economic empowerment. But… we keep demanding reservation for children again. There is no way out of this. This is a matter worth considering.”
