Chennai Meteorological Department has announced that there is a possibility of heavy rain in 27 districts of Tamil Nadu today.
As per the announcement, Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Erode, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Sivagangai, as well as Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Pudukottai, Mayiladuthurai, Nagai, Karur, Ariyalur, Trichy, Cuddalore, Perambalur, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Includes Namakkal, Tirupathur districts. There is a possibility of heavy rain in 27 districts of Puducherry today.
Similarly, it has been announced that there will be a possibility of rain for two days in Chennai and its suburbs. Due to continuous rains, the flow of water in the Kaveri river has increased from 2000 cubic feet to 4000 thousand cubic feet till Pilikundulu bordering Tamil Nadu.
