Tata Motors has recently launched the new Tiago in the country. This facelift for the Tiago could possibly be one of the fastest update cycles since Tata has updated the Tiago for the MY25 version. Starting prices now stand at Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-sh) for Tiago petrol, Rs 5.79 lakh (ex-sh) for Tiago i-CNG and Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-sh) for Tiago EV without BaaS and Rs 4.69 lakh + Rs 2.6 per km for Tiago EV with BaaS.
This is a lot worth unveiling at a launch event held in Delhi NCR. But the excitement doesn’t end there as the Tiago and Tiago EV also get a wide range of dedicated accessories, as the ICE and EV versions feature unique designs. This brings a sense of personalization to buyers, further adding value to the proposition.
New Tata Tiago Accessories
With the Tiago ICE variants, Tata is offering a range of dedicated accessories like the 3D grille insert that looks like it is connected to the DRL design. Because the Tiago petrol and CNG versions have unique bumpers, the bumper corner protectors are unique. These are vertically oriented and offer a fleshy aesthetic.
The Tiago petrol and CNG versions get faux skid plates for the front and rear bumpers in matte silver finish along with interesting vinyl for the front bumper. Additionally, there were also dedicated door sill guards and floor mats with TIAGO branding. Even the seat covers are dedicated, as the embroidered branding here says TIAGO.
Then some external accessories were installed on Tiago Petrol which can also be installed on Tiago EV. These include wheel arch cladding, door protector cladding, running board cladding, funky 3D elements on the front door and quarter panels, vinyl on the door frames, door visor with chrome highlights, roof rails, roof spoiler, tail light and tailgate garnish.
On the inside, common accessories between the Tiago and Tiago EV are leatherette steering wrap, a dashcam, smartphone holder and more. Other miscellaneous interior accessories include perfumes, god idols, touchscreen infotainment system, rear entertainment screen, speakers, underseat subwoofer, air purifier, PPF coatings, kitchen covers, cushions, alloy wheels, wheel covers and more.
Tiago EV Accessories
Some accessories related to Tiago EV were also showcased at the launch event. These are interesting patterned vinyl for the body colored top grill elements. The bumper corner protectors for the Tiago EV looked like they had aerodynamic wings (for additional downforce?) and TIAGO.EV branded leatherette seat upholstery and 3D mats.
The Tiago EV Accessorized version was fitted with this carbon fiber-like ORVM element which can also be fitted on the Tiago ICE. You can even consider adding alloy wheels to the Tiago EV, but doing so may result in a slight change in range.
