From Fürstenfeldbruck to the big World Cup stage: Alexander Pavlovic’s career began at a very young age in a small town near Munich.
Alexander Pavlovich is one of the players who is being particularly monitored in Munich this World Cup. Pavlovich was not only born in the capital of Bavaria, but was also trained at FC Bayern. Tonight from 10 pm onwards he will play as part of the German national team against Ecuador.

From Sabaner Strauss to DFB selection
Pavlovic initially trained at Sabener Straße, later training at the Bayern complex from U14 to U19. This path eventually led him back to Sabener Straße, through the amateurs, this time to the professionals. In October 2023, Pavlovich made his Bundesliga debut for FC Bayern and a few days later he signed his first professional contract. According to Transfermarkt, his contract is now until 2029.
Things progressed rapidly in the national team as well. In June 2024, Pavlovich made his debut in a DFB jersey against Ukraine. However, due to illness he missed the European Championships in the same year. However, he is now representing Germany in the 2026 World Cup.
Pavlovic: Munich’s favorite spot away from the Allianz Arena
The fact that Pavlovich remains closely linked to Munich despite this remarkable rise is also revealed by his answer in an interview with the FC Bayern Kids Club. When asked about his favorite place outside the Allianz Arena, he named Olympic Park. The Bayern professional said he likes to go on walks there with his mother, especially in the summer.
The footballer otherwise describes his free time as quite uneventful: he prefers to stay at home. He would like to watch movies or series there to relax from everyday training.
