JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A United States Senator has called on All Elite Wrestling Owner Tony Khan to recruit Bad Bunny to AEW following an anti-ICE chant controversy.
Tony Khan is the son of Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan.
It all started last Wednesday night during the main event on AEW’s flagship show when an anti-ICE chant broke out. The participants (champ MJF & challenger Brody King) appeared to react as the announcers stopped talking, as the chant drowned out a section of the match.

The following day, the clip was everywhere online with massive media interest, and there was even a reaction from the U.S. Senate.

“@sanbenito” is Bad Bunny’s handle on X. Bad Bunny, who’s the main performer for the Super Bowl halftime show, has a history in pro wrestling, having competed multiple times for AEW’s main competitor, WWE.

So far, there’s been no word from AEW on whether they’ll take Senator Gallego up on his idea to recruit Bad Bunny.
