TVS subsidiary, Norton Motorcycles has recently launched its new ADV motorcycles in the United Kingdom, the home region of the Norton brand. For the UK, the Norton Atlas ADV motorcycle lineup starts at GBP 8,250 (roughly Rs. 10.56 lakh) and is expected to launch in India by the end of calendar year 2026.
Prices in India will be more attractive as the Norton Atlas and Atlas GT will be manufactured at TVS’ manufacturing facility in Hosur. With local production, the pricing of the Norton Atlas and Atlas GT will compete with other tweeners like the BMW F 450 GS (Rs 4.7 lakh), Honda NX500 (Rs 7.44 lakh) and others.
TVS Norton Atlas ADV
Ahead of the launch, the TVS Norton Atlas and Atlas GT have been spotted testing several times around TVS’s manufacturing facility in Hosur in India. It should be noted that the Atlas is more adventure focused as it gets wire-spoke wheels while the Atlas GT is a more road-biased touring machine with alloy wheels at both ends.
Norton has not revealed the full specifications differences between the Atlas and Atlas GT. Instead, they have combined the Atlas and Atlas GT into one and then separated them with the Atlas Apex, which is a higher level version with exclusive features, comfort features and equipment like electronic combined braking, heated grips, TPMS, vehicle hold assist, adjustable windshield and cornering lights.
The Atlas Apex weighs more than 192 kg, while the standard Atlas model weighs 188 kg. Both come with a 15.4L fuel tank, 845 mm seat height, 220 mm ground clearance, 1,465 mm wheelbase and other specifications. Matrix Black and Trophy Silver are the standard color options, with optional Verona Green and Sinopia Orange. Only the Apex gets Glacier Blue.
In specifications, only the standard Atlas is advertised with adjustable tension damping with hydraulic preload adjustment for the rear mono-shock, while KYB USD fully adjustable forks with 180mm of travel are common between the two. Twin 320 mm disc brakes at the front and 270 mm rear disc, 19-inch front (110/80) and 17-inch rear (150/70) wheels are also common between the two.

Only the Apex gets LED puddle lamps, adjustable foot levers, aluminum sump protection, rear luggage kit, pillion handle kit and more. The engine is the same with both models which is a 585 cc DOHC parallel twin unit with a 270-degree crank eking out (good) 69 bhp and 57.5 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch and a bi-directional quick shifter.
