
TVS Motor has emerged as the leading electric 2W manufacturer brand in the country with a huge share of 24.36% in India’s 2W EV market. The iQube lineup has been the primary contributor to this result and to further boost sales and strengthen its position in the market, TVS has recently launched a new edition of the iQube lineup. let’s take a closer look.
TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh variants
Called the iQube S 4.7 kWh, this new variant from the TVS motor replaces the iQube S 3.5 kWh. Now, the new variant comes with a larger 4.7 kWh battery pack which, as the name indicates, replaces the 3.5 kWh battery pack seen in its previous model. The promised range with this big battery pack is 175 km on a single charge.

The launch price of TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh variant is Rs 1.37 lakh (exactly Rs 1,37,142) (ex-sh, Delhi). This newly launched variant is positioned above the base iQube (no suffix) variant and below the top-spec iQube ST variant. According to TVS, the new colors with the iQube S 4.7 kWh variant are – Titanium Grey, Harlequin Blue Beige and Magnificence Purple Beige.
It weighs 128.8 kg, has a seat height of 770 mm, ground clearance of 157 mm and a wheelbase of 1,301 mm. The scooter is powered by a hub motor with a maximum power of 3.0 kW (4 bhp) and rated torque of 33 Nm. The top speed of this variant is 82 km/h and the speed of 0-40 km/h is reached in 4.3 seconds.

For convenience, TVS is offering the iQube S 4.3 kWh variant with the assurance of crash alert, fall alert and anti-theft alert along with reverse mode. There is also an IP67 dust and water resistance rating for the electrical components. The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends shod with 90/90-12 tubeless tyres.
What else do you get from this?
In terms of braking, the TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh variant gets a 220 mm disc brake setup at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear. There is no onboard charger with this scooter and the offboard charger takes 4 hours to go from 0% SOC to 80% SOC. A larger 32L under seat storage solution is also available with this variant, where the company advertises space for two helmets.

As far as features are concerned, a rear seat for comfort on long rides. It has a dual-tone seat with beige inner panels. There’s a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster (not a touchscreen, which the ST only has) with a joystick to navigate through menus. The cluster supports Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation with 118+ connected features.
