Ever since it was unveiled, the TVS Apache RTX 300 has been garnering a lot of attention. Even its price is attractive to many and it has quickly emerged as one of the most desired motorcycles in India. Now, TVS has taken the Apache RTX 300 to the global stage and showcased it in Europe with a new colourway. let’s take a closer look.
Apache RTX 300 launched in Europe
TVS Motor is intensifying its efforts to establish a strong global presence. Especially in developed markets such as Europe, where the company has been present since 2024 with an official partnership with Emil Frey, a leading automotive distributor. Anticipated offerings for the European markets were the Apache RR 310, TVS X and the iQube.
Now, the Apache RTX 300 may also join the lineup and TVS’s first ADV motorcycle was recently showcased in Europe. Not only did the company show off its latest and greatest engine with its new RT-XD4 engine, but there was also a new colorway on this Apache RTX 300 that might just be one of its biggest features.
The stock Apache RTX 300 in India is offered with multiple color options depending on the variant chosen. These include Pearl White, Lightning Black, Metallic Blue, Tarn Bronze and launch color Viper Green. TVS also introduced a limited 20th Anniversary Edition colorway at the TVS MotoSoul 5.0 event in Goa.
The new colorway showcased in Europe is quite attractive where the company has used red, blue, white and black. The mainframe is painted red, while the subframe is painted white. The black split seat setup gets red contrast in the middle. The fuel tank gets a healthy dose of white compared to the red and black.
The fascia and front fenders get a generous dose of blue, in contrast to the red and white. The wheels are the same, but they get half black and half red paint. The windscreen has been kept transparent and the USD front telescopic forks continue to get the gold finish. The entire colorway gets a matte finish, giving it a more sophisticated appeal.
New RT-XD4 Engine
The TVS Apache RTX 300 is not only the company’s first ADV, but it is also their first motorcycle equipped with the new RT-XD4 engine. It is a 299.1cc single-cylinder DOHC 4V/cyl liquid-cooled engine capable of producing 36 PS of maximum power and 28.5 Nm of peak torque, mated to a slipper clutch, an electronic throttle and a 6-speed gearbox.
There are four riding modes, TVS SmartXonnect connectivity suite with map mirroring, dynamic headlights, switchable ABS, traction control, cruise control and more. Also noteworthy is its 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with LED lighting all around. Ground clearance is 200 mm and seat height is 835 mm. The fuel tank capacity is 12.5L and weighs 180 kg.
