Renault Bridger SUV teaser
The maker of the Duster SUV is set to unveil a new concept vehicle on March 10, 2026. Ahead of that, Renault has confirmed the name of this upcoming concept, Bridger. Only part of its silhouette has been teased, revealing a boxy design with traditional SUV proportions and the all-important tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

The name Bridger is derived from the word ‘bridge’ and it is going to be positioned below the Duster that will be in the sub 4 meter SUV segment. This is exactly in line with the latest reports of the ‘Mini Duster’ which is already under development. It will be launched in India, but will also be a global product, marketed as an urban SUV.
Renault is set to unveil the Bridger Concept in its FutureReady phase on March 10, 2026. The production-spec version of this SUV is likely to be based on a monocoque platform. It will adhere to the sub-4 meter length barrier and will directly take on other boxy lifestyle SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Mahindra Thar.

what to expect?
Not much is known about the Renault Bridger Concept. The company is keen to expand its global portfolio and increase its presence in strategic markets like India, which has emerged as the world’s third largest car market by volume, surpassing Japan. Bridger fits perfectly into this strategy as it aims to capture India’s high-volume B segment.
From what we can see from the latest teaser, it shows that the Renault Bridger is going to be a boxy SUV with a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. It will have the same 5-door versatility as the India-spec Maruti Suzuki Jimny. To differentiate itself, Renault may consider introducing 4WD technology with this SUV. More details will be revealed on March 10, 2026.
