From Delhi-NCR to UP, Rajasthan and Punjab, there is a possibility of cloudy sky and rain with thunder at many places. According to meteorologists, today, June 25, light and moderate rain will continue in more than 20 states.
The pace of South-West Monsoon is once again increasing and it may advance further in many states in the next few days. Conditions remain favorable for Monsoon to reach North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and some more parts of Madhya Pradesh during the next 2 to 3 days. After this, in the next 3 to 4 days it is likely to reach the remaining parts of Jharkhand and Bihar as well as some areas of Uttar Pradesh.
According to meteorologists, the trough formed on the sea level extends from Rajasthan to Gangetic West Bengal, passing through Madhya Pradesh, South Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. Along with this, many cyclonic circulations are active around Northeast Bangladesh, Central Assam and North Bay of Bengal, which are further activating the monsoon.
Due to their effect, rain may continue in Konkan-Goa and coastal Karnataka today. There are chances of light to moderate rain in parts of Central Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Himachal-Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of scattered rain and dusty storm with thunder and lightning in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh.
