State Bureau, New Delhi. Delhi government has started a new initiative to improve the transport system of Delhi. In which new bus routes are being prepared on the demand of the public, this experiment is going on continuously in the last few months.
Under this process, a new bus route has now been started from Dhichau Kalan to Anand Vihar. Transport Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh says that this system will be continued, people can give their suggestions.
DTC will get them assessed and if the route is found suitable, the service will be started without any delay. More than 20 proposals have been received in the last three months, out of which changes have been made on more than six routes. People are sending their suggestions to the Transport Minister’s office as well as to the DTC headquarters.
On which new route will the bus run?
Now new bus route 740C has started between Dichaukalan Depot and Anand Vihar ISBT. This route will reach Anand Vihar ISBT via Bapraula, Hastsal, Vikas Nagar, Uttam Nagar, Janakpuri, Khedi Baba Bridge, Kirby Place, Raj Rife Lines, Dhaula Kuan, Talkatora Garden, AITIO, Mother Dairy and Balco Apartments.
This bus route has been designed with the aim of providing easy and economical travel facilities to daily commuters, students, working people and senior citizens. People were demanding about this.
What time will the first bus run?
The first bus on this route will depart at 6 am from both sides and subsequent buses will operate at an interval of approximately 45 minutes. This route has direct connectivity with Anand Vihar ISBT and Anand Vihar Railway Terminal.
