A launch date has been set for the Nissan Gravitas, which is expected to be February 17, 2026. It is basically a badge engineered version of the Renault Triber, which was facelifted in 2025. Ahead of its launch, Nissan has revealed the interiors of the Gravitas along with some expected features.

In an official TVC, we can see the Nissan Gravita being explored by an Indian family of 6. The vehicle shown in this TVC is also hidden, but the quality of the video ensures that details can be outlined and some features can be seen.

On the outside, we can see almost similar lighting elements to the Triber facelift on the Gravity. It may have a slightly modified LED DRL signature. The grille with the Gravitas is larger and the front and rear bumpers are more angular and sporty, reminiscent of the Datsun redi GO. The bonnet looks like it has the same bulges as the Triber and the wheels are steel style and will have wheel covers.

The TVC gives us a glimpse of the seating layout of the upcoming Nissan Gravita as well as its interior. For starters, Nissan is advertising it as a seven-seater, similar to the Triber. Which means the third row seats can be removed to get boot space and the second row seats can slide fore and aft and have a reclining function.

It may have a dedicated blower and rear AC vents like the Triber. The new TVC confirms the same steering wheel as the Magnite with a gloss black insert and leatherette-wrap and stitching. However, no cruise control. We can see a dual-tone white and black theme dashboard with a free-standing infotainment screen, which could be similar to the Triber’s 8-inch unit supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Like the Triber, there is a thin key fob with an engine start button below the climate control panel. Most of the interior is likely to be taken from the Triber as the Nissan Gravit is a badge-engineered product. Notably, the TVC of the Nissan Gravit featured a dashcam, which could be offered as standard with higher trims to position it better against the Triber.

The engines will also be taken from the Triber and a turbo is unlikely to be offered. This 1.0 liter 3-cylinder NA petrol with 72 PS and 96 Nm will be offered with a manual gearbox and an AMT unit as confirmed by the new TVC. The launch will take place on 17th February.
