Lexus India is expanding the ES lineup in the country with a new strong hybrid version. It is to be noted that Lexus India launched the all-electric version of its ES luxury sedan in the country in March 2026. The all-electric version was named the ES 500e and the new strong hybrid version is called the ES 350h.
New Lexus ES 350h launched in India
In terms of price, the Lexus ES 350h is priced at Rs 66.10 lakh (ex-sh) for the Exquisite variant and Rs 71.8 lakh (ex-sh) for the Luxury variant. The all-electric Lexus ES 500e has been priced at Rs 89.99 lakh (ex-sh). Bookings for the ES 350h luxury sedan began yesterday on July 15, 2026.

This is the 8th generation Lexus ES and the 7th generation model was priced lower by around Rs 2.1 lakh. The new 8th generation Lexus ES is based on their latest Provocative Simplicity design language and is very similar to what we saw with the ES 500e. Attractive LED headlights and LED DRL signature, digital covered spindle grille and sporty bumper make up the fascia.
On the sides, we can see attractive angular elements that run through both doors, a rising belt line, large wheels, and a sloping roof line. At the rear, we can see connected LED tail lights, attractive bumper design, Lexus letters inside the tail light signature. The new Lexus ES 350h looks almost similar to the ES 500e, which buyers may like.

On the inside, the interior of the Lexus ES 350h follows the Clean Tech x Elegance design philosophy. The clean dashboard design, free-standing 14-inch infotainment screen, 12.3-inch instrument cluster, HUD, Mark Levinson premium audio system, two wireless charging pads, triple-zone climate control, a digital IRVM, 10 airbags, ADAS, 360-degree cameras and other features are worth mentioning.
hybrid powertrain
The primary difference with the Lexus ES 350h is its hybrid powertrain, which is a self-charging parallel hybrid system and not a PHEV. The primary source of propulsion is a 2.5L petrol engine coupled to an electric motor fed by a small battery pack. This strong hybrid powertrain has a peak system output of 244 bhp and is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds.
