Ahead of its formal launch, the new Honda City facelift spy shots have revealed its front facia design, showing how the C+ segment sedan will look when launched. The design seems to be inspired by other global Honda models such as the Prelude sportscar and the Accord D segment sedan, boasting a sportier and more modern aesthetic than the current model.

Talking about the current model, it looks more contemporary and executive compared to the new fascia seen with the facelift. The headlights of the facelift model have become sleeker and now point towards the centre. With the City facelift, there are no longer any chrome highlights and the honeycomb grille appears to be at an angle this time.

Below the headlights, we can see a black housing where the fog lights of the City facelift can be installed. This element is surrounded by a body-colored bumper, but a thin line breaks the flow and extends to the lower grille. If you look at the lower bumper area, thin black lines break the flow of its lip again and the same can be seen in these renders.

The new alloy wheels can go up to 17-inch or stay at 16-inch. To improve the design from the rear there could be a new design for the rear tail lights along with a sportier rear bumper. The same 1.5L NA petrol engine is also expected to be carried forward along with a strong hybrid setup based on this engine.

These renders are created in 7 colors inspired by the current palette. These colors include Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic and then Crystal Black Pearl. As with the current model, white would probably be the most acceptable color.

Features Upgrade!

With the facelift, Honda is expected to offer many features and comforts to the new 2026 City sedan that were not offered earlier. These include a 360-degree camera, a large infotainment screen, large panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, multi-zone climate control and more as standard fitment. The launch is scheduled for May 22, 2026.
