myHyundai app now offers access to 30,000+ EV charging points across India

Hyundai plans to expand its proprietary DC fast-charging network from 183 stations currently to 600 stations by 2030.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced a major expansion of its electric vehicle ecosystem by providing access to over 30,000 EV charging points across the country through the myHyundai app. Built in partnership with multiple Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and service providers, the integrated platform is one of the largest charging networks in India that can be accessed through a single mobile application.

The charging platform is open to electric vehicles of all brands, allowing users to locate charging stations, navigate to them, book slots in advance and make digital payments through the myHyundai app. Hyundai says extensive network ensures charging facilities Available in an average radius of 25 kmWhich will help EV owners to travel more confidently across the country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

Hyundai is expanding proprietary charging network

Along with partner-operated charging points, Hyundai is also strengthening its own public charging infrastructure. The company is currently working 183 DC fast-charging stations spread across 105 cities And there are plans to expand this network to 600 stations by 2030. These chargers will be installed in major cities, highways and at Hyundai dealerships to improve charging access.

Hyundai’s DC fast chargers currently offer charging capacities ranging from 60 kW to 240 kW for a variety of electric vehicles. Importantly, these charging stations are also open to EV owners of other brands through the myHyundai app. According to Hyundai, its proprietary charging network has already served over 3 lakh EV users More than 50 lakh kWh electricity distributed Ever since operations began.

Charging network extends to major highways

The integrated charging ecosystem covers several important highway corridors, including Delhi-Gurgaon-Jaipur, Mumbai-Pune-Bengaluru, Mumbai-Ratnagiri-Goa, Chennai-Vellore-Bengaluru and Hyderabad-Kurnool-Bengaluru. Hyundai says the charging stations are strategically located near restaurants and food outlets, allowing users to relax while recharging their vehicles. The MyHyundai app combines charging services from multiple operators into a single interface, eliminating the need for users to maintain multiple charging applications.

Commenting on the announcement, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEOHyundai Motor India said expansion of charging infrastructure is essential to accelerate EV adoption in the country. He said the company aims to make electric mobility more practical and convenient while contributing to the development of India’s broader EV ecosystem.

Hyundai also highlighted the environmental impact of its charging infrastructure. From January 2023 to June 2026, the use of Hyundai-owned charging stations has helped save approximately 3.5 million kg of CO? emissions, supporting clean transportation and reducing carbon footprint.

More Hyundai EVs coming

Hyundai currently sells electric models like Creta Electric and Ioniq 5 in India. The company has also confirmed plans to enter the mass market EV segment with a new electric SUV during the current financial year, thereby expanding its electric vehicle lineup and strengthening its presence in one of the fastest growing automotive segments in the country.
