The prices of both the MG M9 and Cyberster have been increased for the month of April 2026. However, they do not get the same price hike. Starting with the MG M9, it has seen the biggest price increase of the two by Rs 5 lakh. This takes the sticker price of the MG M9 Presidential Limousine to Rs 75.9 lakh (ex-sh).

It is currently offered in India in only one trim called the ‘Presidential Limousine’. It rivals other premium MPVs in the country like the Kia Carnival at the lower end and the Toyota Vellfire, Mercedes-Benz V-Class and Lexus LM at the upper end of the spectrum. The most logical rival is the Kia Carnival, which is currently priced at Rs 59.42 lakh (ex-sh).

On the other hand, the price of MG Cyberster has increased by around Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-sh) in the month of April 2026. It was priced at Rs 74.99 lakh (ex-sh) and with this price hike, it is now priced at Rs 77.49 lakh (ex-sh). Like the MG M9, the Cyberster is also offered in just one variant, which comes with a dual motor AWD configuration that is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

Currently, the MG Cyberster has no real rival in the country at that price and with that performance potential, it has become the deal of the century for Indian automotive enthusiasts. It promises a range of 580 km on a single charge from its 77 kWh battery pack. Lamborghini-like scissor doors and convertible roof are its biggest features.

What next?

JSW MG Motor India has not given any concrete reason for this price increase, but rising input costs can be mainly attributed. This increase in prices of MG Select offerings follows the price increase announced for their mainstream portfolio sold through regular MG dealerships. This price hike for MG’s mainstream lineup also comes into effect in April 2026.
