Chief Minister DK Shivkumar met Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray at his Matoshree residence in Mumbai on Saturday.
The yatra has gained importance in recent times when differences within the Shiv Sena (UBT) party have intensified. There was tension within the party as six Lok Sabha members were absent from the party’s parliamentary meeting.
Uddhav Thackeray’s wife Rashmi Thackeray, Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray and MP Sanjay Rawat were present in this meeting.
DK Shivakumar took to social media to express his happiness over meeting former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his family and MP Sanjay Rawat in Mumbai. He said that we had cordial discussions on many issues of public interest.
