China’s famous smartphone company Huawei is soon going to launch its new premium smartphone Huawei Mate 80 Pro in the international market. The company will present this phone at the Innovative Product Launch event to be held in Madrid, Spain on 26 February 2026. Earlier, this phone company was launched in China in November, where it got a very good response. Now the company wants to launch this phone in the global market and give its best performance in the premium smartphone segment.
Dual space ring design will give premium look to the phone
In terms of design, its look is quite premium. The biggest feature of Huawei Mate 80 Pro is its dual space ring design. A large circular camera module has been provided on the rear panel of this phone, which makes it different from other smartphones. The company has also shared a glimpse of this design on social media platform X, in which the phone is shown in Dawn Gold color. Huawei’s XMAGE branding is given on its rear camera module, which shows the good performance of its camera quality.
It is also quite good in terms of display. Huawei Mate 80 Pro has a large display with slim bezels, which gives it a modern look. If we look at the variant launched in China, then that phone has a 6.75 inch LTPO AMOLED display. Along with this, for the safety of the screen, it has Kunlun Glass protection, which helps in protecting the screen from scratches and breakage.
For good performance, the company has given the latest Kirin 9030 Pro processor in this phone. This chipset is known for high performance and better battery efficiency. Because of this processor, the overall performance of this phone will prove to be much better.
You will get professional photography experience
The level of photography with this phone will be professional because the company has given a great camera setup in Huawei Mate 80 Pro. It has a 50-megapixel RYYB primary camera in its rear, which helps in clicking good photos even in low light. It is provided with a 40MP ultra-wide angle camera and 48MP macro telephoto camera.
Talking about the front camera, the front camera given in it also gives very good performance. The company has given a 13MP front camera in this phone. Apart from this, the phone also has a 3D depth-sensing camera for security, which makes face unlock more secure.
Grand launch event to be held in Madrid on 26th February
Huawei has confirmed that the Huawei Mate 80 Pro will be unveiled at its Innovative Product Launch event in Madrid on February 26. In this event, the company can also launch some more new products, in which devices like Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 and Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 can be found. After this global launch, this phone will be sold in Europe and other international markets. But no date has been given by the company yet on when it will be launched in India.
If we talk about the performance of this phone in China, this phone has received a very good response in China. Within two weeks of its launch, more than 7.5 lakh units of this series have been sold.
