Hero MotoCorp recorded strong growth in February 2026, registering total sales of 5,58,216 units. This represents a strong year-on-year (YoY) growth of 43.84% compared to 3,88,068 units sold in February 2025. The growth was driven by strong performance in both motorcycles and scooters as well as healthy export momentum.

Motorcycle sales stood at 4,99,756 units in February 2026, which is 41.85% higher than 3,52,312 units in the same month last year. This segment remains the backbone of Hero’s total volumes. On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, motorcycle sales were up marginally by 0.78% compared to January 2026 (4,95,889 units). Scooter sales recorded a sharp growth of 63.5% year-on-year, from 35,756 units to 58,460 units in February 2025. However, compared to January 2026 (61,982 units), scooter sales declined by 5.68% MoM.
Domestic sales increased by 44.69% to 5,16,968 units in February 2026 from 3,57,296 units last year. On a sequential basis, domestic volumes were 0.62% lower than January. Exports grew 34.04% year-on-year to 41,248 units as compared to 30,772 units in February 2025. On MoM basis, exports grew by 9.52%, reflecting strong international demand. Overall, total sales (domestic + exports) were almost flat sequentially, growing 0.06% compared to January 2026.
FY26 year-to-date performance
The best performer in FY26 has been the scooter segment, which has grown by about 48% year-on-year, while exports have increased by 44%. For FY26 YTD:

VIDA Electric Mobility Enhanced
Hero’s electric mobility arm, VIDA, continued its expansion path with three-fold growth in market share compared to last year. The brand recorded 12,514 VAHAN registrations in February 2026, reflecting the growing number of consumers adopting electric mobility across key markets.
