While it was the Pulsar range that continued as the volume driver, the Chetak electric scooter also gained a strong foothold
Leading two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto Ltd. has seen strong year-on-year growth in February 2026. The company reported a 25.68% growth in its domestic sales last month, which rose to 171,565 units from 136,508 units in February 2025, representing a volume growth of 35,057 units.
The company’s diverse portfolio of commuter motorcycles like the entry-level Pulsar, Platina and CT series are witnessing growing demand along with the electric Chetak scooter. In the more premium segment, models like the Dominar as well as the high-powered Pulsar grew significantly both on YoY and MoM basis.
Bajaj 2W Sales Breakup February 2026
In February 2026, Bajaj Auto once again had Pulsar in the top order. It was the third best selling motorcycle in India after Splendor and Shine. Year-on-year sales increased by 26.98% to 1,11,617 units from 87,902 units, of which Pulsar accounted for 65.0%.
In the Pulsar range, it was the Pulsar 125cc, which includes Pulsar 125, Pulsar NS125 and Pulsar N125, saw the highest sales of 58,056 units, up from 53,768 units with a volume growth of 4,288 units. However, Pulsar 150cc suffered a 4.33% YoY decline to 13,315 units from 13,917 units, while Pulsar 200cc sales almost doubled to 31,435 units, up 96.84% from 15,970 units. Pulsar 250cc sales also more than doubled to 8,459 units from 3,802 units, but sales of the 400cc model declined by 20.90% to 352 units.
Chetak EV also saw strong growth with sales of 28,004 units in February 2026. This was a year-on-year increase of 31.85% over 21,240 units. Chetak is at number 5 in the list of best selling scooters in India, ahead of both Ntorq and Dio.
Highly fuel efficient commuter bikes Bajaj Platina and CT have also seen a rise in sales in the last month. Platina sales increased by 16.57% to 24,390 units, while CT sales increased by 12.56% to 3,792 units. Bajaj Freedom, the world’s first CNG-powered motorcycle featuring multiple segment firsts, registered a growth of 42.26% YoY with sales of 1,461 units.
Bajaj Avenger and Dominar
Better momentum was also recorded for Bajaj Avenger with sales of 1,364 units, a volume increase of 48 units compared to 1,316 units sold in February 2025. Each of these units was for the Avenger 250 cc, while the Avenger 200 cc failed to garner any sales.
Dominar sales also saw some steady demand at 937 units, up 28.18% compared to 731 units in February 2025. These sales were divided between the Dominar 250cc at 551 units, while 386 units of the Dominar 400cc were sold last month.
