Tata Motors’ sales prospects in the month of January 2026 have been quite good as it has secured the second position in the country. It maintained a gap of nearly 7k units from the third best-seller and registered an impressive 46.07% YoY growth and 40.31% MoM growth. Nexon emerged as the best-selling car in the country and Punch remained at the third position.
The company continues to offer exciting discounts to boost sales and increase volumes. Recipients of these exciting discounts include last year’s MY25 chassis vehicles as well as unsold MY24 chassis vehicles. Also some discounts were given on MY26 chassis vehicles. Let’s look at it in more detail and check out the model-wise discounts.
Tiago and Tigor – discount up to Rs 35 thousand
As far as pricing is concerned, the Tiago and Tigor remain the entry point of Tata Motors’ portfolio. With MY24 and MY25 chassis, a maximum discount of up to Rs 35,000 is being offered on all variants of the Tigor as well as all variants of the Tiago (except XE and XE MYC). With the MY26 chassis, all variants of the Tiago (except XE MYC) and Tigor (except Fleet) get maximum possible discounts of up to Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively. These also include direct consumer discounts and exchange and scrappage bonuses.
Punch – discount up to Rs 40 thousand
Tata Motors has launched the Punch facelift in the country at a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-sh). All pre-facelift models of the Punch on MY24 and MY25 chassis get a similar discount of up to Rs 40,000. It is available in both petrol and CNG engine options and also comes with a loyalty bonus of Rs 20,000. There are no discounts on the MY26 Punch facelift.
Karvav – Discount up to Rs 40 thousand
India’s first mainstream coupe SUV, the Tata Curve, has proven to be a style statement and marks Tata’s entry into the 4.2m to 4.4m SUV space. The company is offering a uniform discount of Rs 40,000 with the Curve for all engine options across MY24, MY25 and MY26 models. There are no loyalty bonuses with Curvv.
Nexon – discount up to Rs 50 thousand
Currently, the Nexon is India’s best-selling vehicle (across all body styles) and the company is offering discounts of up to Rs 50,000 with the MY24 and MY25 models. Same discount is available on all three engine variants (petrol, CNG, diesel). With the MY26 Nexon, Tata is offering discounts of up to Rs 25,000 on all variants.
Harrier and Safari – up to Rs 75k off
Currently, the Harrier and Safari are the flagship SUVs of Tata Motors and both of them recently got the new 1.5L Hyperion turbo petrol engine. Tata is offering total discounts of up to Rs 75,000 on the MY24 and MY25 Harrier and Safari. Tata is offering discounts of up to Rs 35,000 on the MY26 Harrier and Safari. The thing to note is that this discount is only with the new variants.
Altroz – up to Rs 85k off
We saved the Altroz for last because it gets the biggest discount. The maximum discount can go up to Rs 85,000 for the pre-facelift version of the MY24 and MY25 Altroz chassis. The facelifted MY25 Altroz gets discounts of up to Rs 25,000 and the MY26 gets a total discount of Rs 30,000.
