
Stellantis India has not been able to hold the market and record sales figures like its other rivals in the C segment mid-size SUV segment. In this segment, Citroen Basalt has occupied the bottom position in the sales charts with sales of less than 100 units per month for the last four months continuously.

Citroen Basalt X Comfort Edition
After launching the Comfort Edition with the Aircross SUV, Citroen India has now launched the Basalt X Comfort Edition in the country. The Citroen Basalt
The Comfort edition comes with the ‘Comfort AXS’ pack which brings more features and equipment with lower trims. These include beige leatherette upholstery for a premium feel, JBL audio system with wireless Android Auto and 10.25-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charger, rear view reversing camera with dual-channel dashcam.

Citroen Basalt advertised by brand
The base U trim is only offered with a 1.2L NA petrol engine with 82 bhp and 115 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The mid-spec Plus and Max trims get a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine with 110 bhp and 205 Nm of torque, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed Aisin-sourced torque converter automatic gearbox.
