
India’s two-wheeler market recorded strong growth in June 2026, with domestic sales increasing 18.58% year-on-year to 18,51,400 units, up from 15,61,283 units sold in June 2025. Hero Splendor retained its position as the country’s best-selling two-wheeler. Honda Activa continued to close the gap, registering one of its strongest monthly performances.
Top 10 Two Wheelers June 2026
Hero Splendor continued to dominate the charts with sales of 3,53,024 units in June 2026, up 6.64% compared to 3,31,057 units sold in June 2025. Honda Activa stood strongly at the second position with 2,18,932 units, registering an impressive growth of 19.46%. Scooters added 35,667 units last year.

Honda Shine stood at third position with 1,67,572 units with 17.00% YoY growth. TVS Jupiter retained the fourth position after registering the strongest gains among mainstream models, rising 26.69% to 1,36,805 units. Bajaj Pulsar was one of the few models to register a decline. Sales fell 12.49% to 77,406 units from 88,452 units last year.
Suzuki Access registered a healthy growth of 22.43%, taking sales to 63,121 units. TVS Apache delivered an even stronger performance, growing 33.82% YoY to 55,382 units. TVS XL100 registered a sharp growth of 50.39% with sales of 50,155 units, while TVS iQube continued its rapid expansion in the electric scooter segment. Sales grew 232.29% to 47,331 units compared to only 14,244 units in June 2025, making it one of the top ten biggest gainers.

Hero HF Deluxe saw the biggest price drop among the flagship models. Sales fell 56.09% to 44,292 units from 1,00,878 units a year ago, indicating a significant shift in demand in the entry-level commuter motorcycle segment.

Total two-wheeler sales in June 2026 and Q2 2026
June 2026: Domestic two-wheeler sales increased by 18.58% to 18,51,400 units in June 2026 from 15,61,283 units a year ago. Motorcycles remained the largest segment with 10,56,422 units (57.06% share), while scooters were the fastest growing category, growing 39.14% to 7,44,823 units. Moped sales also increased by 50.39% to 50,155 units.
CY Q2 2026: For the April-June 2026 period, domestic two-wheeler sales grew 20.29% year-on-year to 56,26,300 units. Sales of motorcycles rose 13.96% to 33,08,847 units, while scooters grew 30.77% to 21,76,483 units. Moped sales improved by 28.90% to 1,40,970 units, showing healthy growth across all three segments.
