
The 2026 Honda City facelift features sharper exterior styling, a better-equipped cabin, and better safety and connectivity features
Honda has launched the 2026 City facelift with a better upgrade package. The price of base variant starts from Rs 12 lakh. The top-spec ZX+ e:HEV hybrid variant is priced at Rs 21 lakh. There are five broad trim levels – SV, V, ZX, ZX+ and ZX+ e:HEV. Let’s take a look at the variant-wise features to better understand the options available.
2026 Honda City Petrol – Base SV variant
Even the base SV variant of the 2026 Honda City Petrol offers a wide range of features. Key features include bi-LED projector headlamps with integrated split LED DRL and turn signals. The sedan gets sporty Z-edge wraparound LED tail lamps. Other items present include a black colored front upper grille and a body colored shark fin antenna.

ORVMs come with integrated side turn indicators. However, the base variant misses out on alloy wheels and gets R15 steel wheels instead. Inside, the base variant of the 2026 Honda City facelift gets dual-tone interiors, fabric upholstery, leather shift lever and center console pocket ambient lighting.
The Tech package includes an 8-inch touchscreen, wired Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and WebLink, a 4-speaker premium sound system, and Type-A and Type-C USB ports. Other key features include start/stop button, electrical trunk lock, follow me home, power adjustable and folding ORVMs, fully automatic climate control, rear AC vents and PM2.5 air filter.

The 2026 Honda City facelift base variant features a 4.2-inch color TFT multi-information display. The security kit is quite robust with 18 features as standard. These include 6 airbags, rear camera with guidelines, rear parking sensors, vehicle stability assist, electronic stability and traction control, agile handling assist, hill start assist and tire pressure monitoring system.

V type features
Key upgrades over the base variant include gray painted R15 alloy wheels, taillamps with clear lenses and gloss black trunk center molding. Inside, the door handles get a premium chrome finish. The Tech package has been enhanced with the next generation Honda Connect Telematics Control Unit (TCU). It has smartwatch connectivity and works with Alexa. The Honda City V variant also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The biggest upgrade compared to the base variant is the ADAS package (Honda Sensing). It has features like Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High-beam, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation System and Lead Car Departure Notification System. The V variant also gets remote engine start (CVT only), walk away auto lock and 7-speed paddle shifters (CVT only).

ZX variant features
Exterior upgrades on the V variant include R16 diamond cut alloy wheels, one-touch electric sunroof and blacked-out front bumper air curtain and mesh insert. Inside, the ZX variant features leather upholstery, dual-tone interior, leather-wrapped steering wheel with stitching and ambient lighting on the dashboard and display audio.
The 2026 Honda City ZX variant features a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen, wireless weblink, wireless charger and an 8-speaker premium surround sound system. Safety is enhanced with LaneWatch camera, auto dimming IRVM and advanced auto wiper system with rain sensor.

Features of ZX+ variant
This variant features R16 diamond cut alloy wheels and a body colored trunk lip spoiler in Berlina Black and dark-clear cut finish. Inside, the ZX+ variant gets a special sporty seat design. Key upgrades on the ZX variant include ventilated front seats, power windows, remote sunroof open/close and auto folding remote retractable door mirrors.
The tech kit includes a 7-inch full color TFT multi-information display, digital speedometer and G-meter display. Security has been enhanced with 360° surround view cameras. It provides a 360° view of the surroundings and can detect moving objects.

Features of ZX+ e:HEV variant
The new 2026 Honda City facelift continues with the same powertrain options as before. The top ZX+ e:HEV variant is equipped with a self-charging strong hybrid setup. It produces 126 PS of maximum system power and 253 Nm of maximum torque. Fuel efficiency is remarkable at 27.26 km/l. The hybrid variant can operate in engine mode, hybrid motor drive mode and pure EV drive mode.
Other distinctive features of the Honda City ZX+ e:HEV variant include auto engine stop/start, electric AC compressor and coolant pump with heater, deceleration selector paddle shifters and wireless charger for battery regeneration. The safety kit gets additional features like low speed follow, all 4 disc brakes, electric parking brake (EPB), automatic brake hold system and AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Warning System on low speed EV mode).
