Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) is planning a major product revamp in the country with the launch of two vehicles on May 22. These include the City facelift and ZR-V. With the ZR-V, Honda will also restart its import business in the country. Honda currently has Amaze sedan, City sedan and Elevate SUV in its portfolio.

In May 2026, benefits worth up to Rs 2.12 lakh are offered on Honda cars, which include cash discounts, exchange or scrappage benefits and loyalty bonus. Total Honda benefits may vary depending on dealership, city and stock availability and buyers are advised to visit their nearest dealership for exact offers.

Discounts on Honda cars May 2026
The Amaze is the entry-point into Honda India’s portfolio and comes with benefits of up to Rs 67,000. Interestingly, it is the new third generation Amaze that gets a higher discount of Rs 67,000, while the older second generation Amaze gets a slightly lower total discount. The second generation model starts at Rs 6.98 lakh (ex-sh), while the third generation model starts at Rs 7.51 lakh (ex-sh).
Total benefits on the Elevate SUV go up to Rs 2.12 lakh, the highest across Honda’s portfolio in the country. Prices for the Elevate start at Rs 11.6 lakh (ex-sh) and Honda is offering complementary accessories like 360-degree surround vision camera and smart dashcam with the Elevate ZX trims. Benefits up to Rs 2.12 lakh include cash discount of Rs 40,000 and exchange benefit of Rs 30,000.

Within Honda’s lineup, the highest cash discount is offered with the City sedan for the month of May 2026. It is offered in both petrol (City) and petrol + electric hybrid powertrain options (City e:HEV). With Honda City, the total benefits go up to Rs 1.56 lakh which includes Rs 40,000 cash discount and exchange bonus of Rs 60,000 and Rs 60,000.
The City Hybrid (e:HEV) gets higher cash discounts of up to Rs 1.8 lakh. Honda is expected to launch the City facelift on May 22 and the discounts will be sure to clear the existing stock inventory. Prices for the City sedan start at Rs 12 lakh (ex-sh) for the non-hybrid and Rs 20 lakh (ex-sh) for the City e:HEV.

Two vehicles will be launched on May 22
Honda Cars India Limited plans to launch two vehicles on May 22. One of these will be a facelift of the city sedan with more expected features and refreshed aesthetics. The second will be the ZR-V SUV which will be brought to the country via the CBU route.
The company also plans to make a strong comeback with several new vehicles. 10 new cars are expected to be launched in India by 2030. Seven of them will be SUVs, featuring both ICE and electric powertrains.
