The iconic Italian scooter manufacturer, Vespa has recently updated its popular models like Primavera and Sprint S to MY26 version. With this update, the company is offering more security, more style, and more tools than before, making them a better proposition than before. These updates are applicable to 50cc, 125cc and 150cc models. let’s take a closer look.
2026 Vespa Primavera and Sprint S debut
With the MY26 versions, the Vespa Primavera and Sprint S scooters have received much-needed updates. With these updates, the overall perception of the Vespa Primavera and Sprint S has improved significantly. Improvements include better equipment, better safety and upgraded styling with a larger color palette.
Talking about it, the 2026 Vespa Primavera is available in standard Bianco Innocente (white), Nero Convinto (black), Verde Amabile (green), Blu Energico (blue) and new Beige Avolgente colors. The Primavera S features Bianco Innocente (white) and the new Giallo Disinvolto (saffron) with distinctive seat colors and graphics. Primavera Tech gets Blu Energico Opaco (blue) and Grigio Otimista Opaco (grey).
The Sprint S, on the other hand, is available in Bianco Innocente (white), Rosso Coragioso (red) and Blu Eclético (blue), Nero Convinto Opaco (black) and the new Verde Rebele (green). Depending on the model, Vespa offers a number of accessories such as windshield, top box, luggage rack and more.

With the 2026 Vespa Primavera and Sprint S getting several new updates to make them better devices. For starters, the 2026 Primavera and 2026 Sprint S now get rear disc brakes, especially for the 125cc model. These are steel discs with twin-pot callipers and have ABS for a safe braking experience.
Vespa is also offering a Keyless Go system as standard with all variants of the Primavera and Sprint S, both 125 cc and 150 cc models. The keyless go system brings convenience and the boot can be opened remotely even with the key. The 2026 versions of the Primavera and Sprint S also get a new colored instrument cluster.
It supports the Vespa MIA with features like smartphone connectivity including cluster notifications, music and navigation. There are new designs for the 12-inch wheels and the Sprint S gets a new grille on the left side and the Primavera gets a new emblem on its fender. The seats get new material for better comfort.
The 2026 Vespa Primavera and Sprint S are available in both ICE and electric versions. Depending on the market, ICE versions can be available with 50cc, 125cc and 150cc engines. The EV versions get the Elettrica suffix and can be made available in both 45 km/h and 70 km/h top speed variants. Piaggio Vehicles India has not yet confirmed whether the same equipment on the Vespa and Vespa S models will come to India.
