Just days after revealing the exterior design of the upcoming Tiago facelift, Tata Motors has now officially teased the interiors of the ICE variant ahead of its launch on May 28, 2026. While the cabin of the Tiago EV facelift has not been revealed yet, the new teaser gives us a detailed look at the redesigned dashboard, updated center console and several new features.
The interior of the new Tiago adopts a Cleaner and more premium looking Layout compared to before. A layered horizontal dashboard theme can be seen, with fabric inserts running across the width of the cabin. It seems like Tata is focusing a lot more on the design and material presentation this time, giving the hatchback a more modern cabin ambiance.

new dashboard layout
One of the biggest attractions is the new free-standing digital instrument cluster located next to the touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment display looks similar in size to the older model, but the dashboard architecture around it is completely new. Tata has retained the physical controls for the HVAC functions, which should improve usability while driving.
The center console has also been completely redesigned. Instead of a conventional gear lever, the new Tiago AMT gets rotary drive selector Similar to what we have seen in the new Tata EV. Interestingly, paddle shifters can also be seen in the teaser, indicating continued support for the automatic variant.

Another major addition is wireless phone charging. The new Tiago appears to feature dual wireless charging trays integrated into the floating center console. Chances are that only one of these is a charging pad, while the other is just for storing the phone. USB Type-C charging ports can also be seen for front and rear passengers, including 65W fast charging port.

Sierra-like design touches
An interesting design element is the new armrest and door pad treatments. Tata has used a fabric-finished armrest section with glossy piano black housing for the window switches – a styling approach that was recently seen on the Tata Sierra.

However, this exact implementation on the Sierra was met with criticism from some owners and enthusiasts. Looks a bit flimsy and lacks a solid tactile feel. It remains to be seen whether Tata has improved the strength and overall performance of the Tiago or not. The teaser also reveals new dual-tone fabric upholstery with lighter shades for the seats and dashboard insert. Rear AC vents have also now been included, improving comfort for the rear passengers.

External updates have already appeared
Earlier this week, Tata had revealed the exterior design of both the Tiago ICE and Tiago EV facelift models. The hatchback gets a completely revised front fascia with brighter LED headlights, top-mounted DRLs, redesigned bumpers and connected LED tail lamps. New alloy wheel designs and fresh color options are also expected. The EV version gets a more closed-off grille treatment, while the ICE model features fog lamps integrated into the revised bumper design.
Mechanical updates are expected to be minimal. The Tiago facelift is likely to continue with the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a CNG option. Both manual and AMT gearbox options are expected to continue. For the Tiago EV facelift, Tata may introduce efficiency improvements and faster charging capabilities, although official specifications are yet to be revealed. Prices for both the Tiago facelift ICE and Tiago EV facelift will be announced on May 28, 2026.
