Maruti Suzuki is days away from launching the new Brezza facelift to take on better-equipped rivals like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV3XO. Units of the Brezza facelift are reaching showrooms ahead of the launch and the latest video by PrinceGujarati_1044 shows the top-spec Brezza facelift with the turbo petrol engine and 6MT gearbox.
2026 Maruti Brezza top variant
In a recent development, we have seen the base variant of the Brezza facelift being unloaded from a truck to be displayed at the dealership. Now, a video of a top variant of Brezza parked in a dealer yard has been leaked. Maruti Suzuki is expected to retain the variant hierarchy and nomenclature and this particular variant could be of the ZXi+ trim.
At the front, we can see that the Brezza gets a new fascia with a new grille and new bumpers. The grille in the top variant gets a gold shade, which is subtle and classy. There is a new bumper at the front and it has a new triangular housing for the fog lights. It has a thick bull bar like shape on the front, which is this time crafted in silver.
Below there is a broad silver element that would be advertised as a fake skid plate. On the sides, we can see the same silhouette as the current model, but a new alloy wheel design that takes a four-spoke design. The rear design is not shown in the video, but there are likely to be no major changes in the rear design, as shown by previous spy shots.
Updated interior, new engine options
The recent video leaking the interior of the top variant of Maruti Brezza shows us a lot of details and gives us a perspective of what we can expect from this soon-to-be-launched SUV. For starters, it has the larger 10.1-inch infotainment screen that we’ve also seen with the Victoris. The screen supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The AC vents on the dashboard look similar to the existing model, but the climate control panel of the existing Brezza has been replaced with a new unit similar to the one we saw in the Victoris. There’s a wireless charging pad underneath, which supports the same Qi standards as the existing model. The Brezza also comes with a new 6-speed gear selector.
For the first time, Maruti Suzuki Brezza is offered with ventilated front seats, which is a big plus. Features like ambient lighting, sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, MID cluster and others have been carried forward. After the discontinuation of the 1.3 diesel, the Vitara Brezza and then the Brezza never had a turbo engine option. Maruti Suzuki is fixing this by offering a 1.0L turbo engine with the 2026 Brezza facelift, which will offer better drivability compared to the 1.5 NA petrol option.
As far as the gearbox is concerned, the Vitara Brezza or Brezza never had a 6-speed manual, which has now changed as the 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine brings a 6MT gearbox option. The CNG variant of the Brezza is expected to get a new underbody CNG tank, similar to what we saw in the Victoris.
