Kia India launched its most ambitious offensive in the sub 4 meter SUV segment with the launch of the Sciros. It is the most premium and well-equipped sub 4 meter SUV ever in India and comes only with a turbo petrol engine as standard. To boost sales and further improve its appeal, Kia India has updated the Syros for the MY26 edition.

This update brings a minor exterior styling redesign with three new color options. Redesigned alloy wheels, neon brake callipers and more. There are new trim levels to choose from and a wider range of powertrain combinations for popular trims. Let’s take a deeper look at the changes.

Kia Ciros updated for MY26

For the 2026 model year, Kia India has taken a multi-pronged approach with the Sciros. This update revolves around Kia’s value-driven approach, which brings down the prices of the X-SH. The key figure is that the 2026 Kia Ciros now starts at Rs 8.4 lakh (ex-sh), which used to start around Rs 8.7 lakh earlier.

This is due to the introduction of new trim levels to expand the variant lineup of the Sciros. There are four new trims – HTE, HTE (O), HTK+ (O) and HTX (O). Previously, there used to be an HTK base trim, which seems to have been removed now. The range starts with HTE, followed by HTE (O), HTK (EX), HTK+, HTK+ (O), HTX and HTX (O).

Trims like HTX+ and HTX+ (O) also seem to be discontinued. The three new colors of the updated Kia Ciros for MY26 are Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte and Ivory Silver Gloss. Kia has also introduced a more affordable diesel automatic variant which now starts at Rs 12.74 lakh (ex-sh) with the HTK+ trim instead of the HTX+ trim earlier.

Prices for the 2026 Kia Ciros range between Rs 8.34 lakh (ex-sh) for the HTE turbo petrol MT variant and go up to Rs 15.8 lakh (ex-sh) for the HTX (O) diesel 6AT variant. Kia is still offering all the key features of the Sciros like 30-inch Trinity display, panoramic sunroof, front and rear ventilated seats, rear sliding and reclining seats, 80+ connected car features and more.

change in styling

As far as design is concerned, the 2026 Kia Ciros comes with a slightly unique look. For starters, Kia has given it a new front bumper which now gets LED fog lights and body colored aero inserts. The rear has been slightly enhanced with a high-mount stop light and a new rear bumper. There are gloss black on the roof rails and ORVMs and then new 17-inch alloys and neon brake callipers.

Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & MarketingKia India said, “Customer insights have guided the development of the Ciros MY26 with design enhancements and a revised trim and feature lineup, offering more choice across trims and powertrains as well as more meaningful value. Winning multiple awards since its launch, the Ciros has been highly recognized in auto exports and this latest update further strengthens its appeal to a wider group of customers. This thoughtful development exemplifies Kia’s consumer-first innovation. Offering a blend of city-friendly cabin space and comfort, we invite customers to visit their nearest Kia dealership to experience the Syros MY26.
