Strong growth is being seen in the premium segment

Camry registered 203 units, showing a marginal decline of 2.87% YoY but 10.33% MoM growth. Vellfire stood out with a massive growth of 663.16% year-on-year, reaching 145 units from just 19 units last year. MoM sales also increased by 17.89%, reflecting growing demand for premium MPVs. 47 units of the Land Cruiser 300 were recorded in February 2026, compared to zero sales in the same month last year. MoM sales more than doubled to 21 units.

Toyota’s February 2026 performance shows a clear shift towards SUVs and premium offerings which is driving growth. The Hider remains the key volume generator, while models like the Vellfire and LC300 highlight the growing hold in the luxury segment. Also, the decline in Glanza and Taser indicates pressure in the entry-level segment, suggesting that Toyota’s growth is largely being supported by higher-priced products rather than mass-market offerings.
