Toyota Fortuner sales have been relatively stable over the past six months with minor fluctuations on a month-on-month basis. Between October 2025 and March 2026, Fortuner recorded cumulative sales of 18,474 units, slightly higher than 18,172 units sold during the same six-month period a year ago, resulting in a growth of 1.66%.

Soon, the Toyota Fortuner will face proper competition with the launch of the MG Magster. It’s more feature-loaded, luxurious and packs better off-road hardware on paper than the Fortuner. However, Toyota has firmly ruled this large SUV segment due to the Fortuner’s widespread popularity, cult following and its association with VIPs and government representatives. The next generation version of the Fortuner is being developed based on the Hilux Travo. This upcoming version is expected to have an all-new front and rear design as well as a completely revised interior.
