Hyundai Creta has been at the top of its game ever since its launch in the Indian automotive industry. It has unprecedented dominance, even though it now has 14 contenders! Currently, the Creta is in its second generation facelift phase, which is slated to be launched in January 2024 and Hyundai is now working on a new third generation model.
Its test models have been revealed for the first time in South Korea, showing a new direction in the design and overall silhouette of the Creta. Now, rendering artist Nimmath has created his own version of the third-generation Creta, taking design inspiration from the Hyundai Nexo launched in Europe. let’s take a closer look.

Rendering of the third generation Hyundai Creta
The most notable elements in these renders include its fascia and new lighting signature. Inspired by the Hyundai Nexo, these third-generation Hyundai Creta renders get a quad dot Hyundai logo on its grille, which is illuminated and has four distinct dots each. Next to them are the pixelated LED DRL signatures. We can also see the Hyundai logo above the quad dot logo.
Below the DRLs, we also find horizontally arranged LED headlights in a pixelated format. The grille is divided into two units, with the upper unit housing the radar module for ADAS and the lower unit housing the shiny silver faux skid plate. There are fog lights flanking the lower grille, which are arranged vertically and have an ice-cube design. These can also function as cornering lights.

The bonnet is muscular and is of clamshell type with strong creases for an aggressive stance. The wheel arch cladding is thick and chunky for an impressive look. The door frames have an angular shape with deep rear quarter glass. Flush-type door handles are likely to be offered and we may also see pixel LED arrangement for the turn indicators on the ORVMs.
The alloy wheels are likely to be 19-inch for a sporty stance, which is further accentuated by its wide rear haunches. Its roof rails and rear spoiler are also noteworthy. Overall, the renders of the third-generation Hyundai Creta look bigger than the current model, which may be the case in the real world. The new Kia Seltos is currently the longest in the segment, while the Tata Sierra is the widest and tallest.

More premium interiors
Recently, the interior of the upcoming third generation Creta was spotted testing. Most of the dashboard was hidden to hide the developments from public view. We can see a new seat design with headrests like the new Seltos. We can see new door panels as well as redesigned door handles and window controls that may also pack ventilated seat buttons.
One can expect a dual 12.3-inch screen or even a triple screen setup to keep up with the intense competition. Front and rear ventilated seats, Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, electric boss mode, dashcam, 360 cameras, rear window shades, front and rear wireless charging pads and other features.

As far as powertrain is concerned, the Creta will retain a trio of 1.5L engines – an NA petrol, a turbo petrol and a turbo diesel. Depending on the engine chosen, Hyundai will offer a 6-speed manual, a CVT, a 6-speed torque converter or a 7-speed DCT.
