One of the biggest cash cows from Tata Motors is the Nexon sub 4 meter SUV. It has been one of India’s best-selling vehicles (regardless of style) and continues to be a heavy hitter in the sub 4 meter SUV space. To further boost sales, Tata has carefully designed a new variant under the Pure+ persona.
We are talking about the upcoming Pure+ PS, where PS stands for panoramic sunroof. It will be India’s most affordable vehicle to come with a panoramic sunroof after launch, which is expected to be launched soon. Ahead of the official launch, the interior of the Nexon Pure+ PS has been leaked, showing two major changes. let’s take a closer look.
Tata Nexon Pure+ PS variant interior leaked
Ahead of its formal launch, VehicleTalk has posted leaked interior photos of the Tata Nexon Pure+ PS trim. The launch price of the Pure+ PS is expected to be slightly higher than the Pure+ S, starting at Rs 9.23 lakh (ex-sh) for the turbo petrol 6MT variant. As per other Nexon trims, the PS in the name will stand for Panoramic Sunroof.
Currently, the panoramic sunroof starts with the Creative+PS trim, which is priced at Rs 11.32 lakh (ex-sh). With the launch of the Nexon Pure+ PS trim, Tata Motors will make the panoramic sunroof accessible to the masses by offering it with the Pure+ Persona, which is one above the base. Currently, irrespective of the use case, panoramic sunroof is one of the trendiest features in India.

Apart from the panoramic sunroof, the Nexon Pure+ PS trim will also get an additional feature, which is cruise control. This is confirmed by the leaked images where we can see toggles to set the speed and resume cruise. It should be noted that cruise control, which used to be reserved with Creative Persona and above, is now made available with Pure+ Persona.
what to expect?
Other notable features offered as standard with the Pure+ Persona include a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4 speakers, 4-inch MID screen in the instrument cluster, HD rear view camera, auto fold powered ORVMs, height adjustable driver’s seat, front armrest, rear AC vents and more.

With the upcoming Nexon Pure+ PS trim, Tata will also offer auto headlights and rain-sensing wipers, similar to the Pure+ S. Powering the Nexon+ PS are likely to be the same engine and gearbox options as the Pure+ S. These include Turbo Petrol 6MT, Turbo Petrol 6AMT, Turbo Diesel 6MT and CNG 6MT. There may also be a turbo diesel 6AMT in the mix.
In the sub 4 meter SUV space, Tata Nexon is one of the sales champions, rivaling the likes of Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV3XO and others. The Nexon is currently the only vehicle in India that offers four fuel options – petrol, diesel, CNG and electric.
