Tata Motors to increase car prices by up to 1.5% in July 2026 – ICE & EV

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (TMPV) has announced price hikes across its passenger vehicle portfolio, which includes both ICEs and electric vehicles. Revised prices will come With effect from July 1, 2026, There will be an increase of up to 1.5% depending on the model and variant.

The company said that this decision has been taken to partially compensate Impact of rising input costs and persistent inflationary pressures. While Tata Motors continues to bear a major part of the increased costs, it has now decided to pass on some of the burden to customers.

Price hike will impact ICE and EV lineup

The upcoming price revision will be applicable across the entire passenger vehicle range of Tata Motors. This includes popular ICE models like Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Punch, Nexon, Curve, Harrier, Safari and Sierra, along with the company’s growing electric vehicle portfolio including Tiago EV, Punch EV, Curve EV, Nexon EV and Harrier EV.

Tata Motors said the extent of the increase will vary depending on the model and variant. The company stressed that it is committed to maintaining the overall value proposition of its vehicles despite the price adjustment. Exact price increase of each model More variants will be revealed soon.

Second price revision this year

The latest announcement comes at a time when automakers across the industry are facing challenges related to higher raw material costs, logistics expenses and inflation. Manufacturers have relied on periodic price revisions to manage cost pressures while balancing customer demand. For potential buyers considering a Tata car or SUV, the remaining weeks of June may provide an opportunity to buy at current prices before the revised rates come into effect from July 1.

Tata continues product aggression in 2026

The price hike announcement is in line with Tata Motors’ aggressive product rollout strategy this year. Starting from 2026, the company has launched several new and updated products including Sierra ICE, Harrier Petrol, Safari Petrol, Punch facelift, Punch EV facelift, Tiago facelift and Tiago EV facelift.

Tata is also preparing to launch the Sierra EV later this month, strengthening its presence in India’s fast-growing electric vehicle market. More details about the revised prices across different models are expected closer to the implementation date of July 1.
