The BE6 Batman Edition first caught our eye at its launch in Mumbai last year. The Batman Edition was anticipated, but we were still surprised that Mahindra partnered with Warner Bros. to bring it to Batman fans across the country. The company launched only 300 units in August 2025 and due to unprecedented demand, it was increased to 999 units.
We also saw that the company also launched limited units of the Formula E edition of the BE 6. In March 2026, Mahindra re-introduced the Batman edition of the BE6 in a second batch of 999 units on popular demand and they sold like hot cakes. let’s take a closer look.

BE6 BATMAN EDITION SECOND BATCH
Mahindra Auto announced the second batch of BE6 Batman Edition limited run electric SUVs for March 2026. Bookings have opened and Batman enthusiasts across India got the opportunity to own an official Batman collab vehicle, which looks like a desi Batmobile (separately). Within 7 minutes of booking opening, all 999 units were reserved.
This concludes the second batch of BE6 Batman Editions and shows how much a smart and well-thought-out collaboration between the companies resonates with the target audience. As far as pricing is concerned, the second batch of Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition was priced at Rs 28.49 lakh (ex-sh) and all 999 units were sold out in just 7 minutes.

It should be noted that the 2026 BE6 Batman Edition is priced Rs 70,000 higher than the August 2025 variant as the first batch of buyers got introductory prices. This Batman Edition Special Edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three trim and gets additional goodies and several cosmetic updates inspired by Batman and his Batmobile.
Batman Edition Special Features
Exclusively for the Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition, we get a satin black paint finish, Batman decals on the sides, multiple Bat emblems in gold shade, large 20-inch alloy wheels, gold finished brake callipers and suspension components. The combination of these has worked and they look cohesive individually.

On the inside, there is an all-black theme which contrasts perfectly with the gold elements. We can see gold on the steering wheel, dashboard and co-driver divider, central console, gold ambient lighting, a dedicated plaque on the central console that reads Batman Edition and its production number 999, a large bat emblem on the glass roof like the bat signal, bat motif on the seat upholstery and more.
Powering the BE6 Batman Edition is the same 79 kWh battery pack coupled to a single electric motor rated at 286 bhp and 380 Nm driving the rear wheels, promising a range of up to 682 km on a single charge. Level-2 ADAS, 7 airbags, 6-speaker 1400W Harman Kardon audio system, dual 12.3-inch screen and other features are also worth mentioning.
