Delivery of Royal Enfield electric motorcycle begins

Royal Enfield has started customer deliveries of its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in Bengaluru. The electric motorcycle was launched earlier this year under Royal Enfield’s newly created Flying Flea electric mobility brand and is being launched in a phased manner, starting from Bengaluru.

Flying Flea C6 is available in two color options – Storm Black and Flea Green. Price starts from Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), while customers can also opt for the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which brings the initial purchase price down to Rs 1.99 lakh.

Dedicated Proprietary Ecosystem

Along with delivery, Flying Flea has also established a dedicated ownership and service ecosystem in Bengaluru. The company has adopted a hub-and-spoke service network with the aim of providing easy access to service and support across the city. Grand Central Service center is located in BTM Layout and handle specific service requirements. Regular maintenance and service requirements will be addressed through multiple spoke centers spread across Bengaluru.

Flying Flea is also leveraging Royal Enfield’s existing network infrastructure through a shop-in-shop format. It allows customers to access Flying Flea sales and service touchpoints through select Royal Enfield showrooms and service centres, ensuring wider reach without the need for a standalone network in the initial phase.

24×7 roadside assistance

To support customers throughout the ownership experience, every Flying Flea C6 Comes with 24×7 roadside assistance Coverage. The company says this will ensure that assistance is available to riders whenever they need it.

Royal Enfield is following a city-by-city rollout strategy for the Flying Flea brand, with Bengaluru serving as the first market. Additional cities are expected to be added in the coming months as the company expands its electric mobility footprint.

Flying Flea C6 Highlights

The Flying Flea C6 marks Royal Enfield’s entry into the electric motorcycle segment. The neo-retro electric motorcycle combines styling cues inspired by the original Flying Flea motorcycles with modern EV technology and connected features.

The motorcycle is powered by a 3.91 kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor producing 15.4 kW of maximum power. It offers an IDC-certified range of 154 km on a full charge and supports multiple charging modes including rapid, standard and trickle charging. Key features include TFT instrument display, Bluetooth and 4G connectivity, over-the-air updates, traction control, lean-angle ABS, cruise control, navigation support and regenerative braking.
