2027 Honda HR-V – What to Expect?
Since the spy shot captures only the hindquarters of the test mule, only limited information can be extracted. The taillights appear to be new and vertically aligned, although heavy camouflage makes things difficult to confirm. The current HR-V features sleek taillamps in a connected format. The boot lid looks flat and the space for the number plate is rectangular.
While the bumper design has been retained for the most part, the reflectors are now placed diagonally. There are no major changes except for the raked windshield and roof-mounted spoiler. However, one can see that the test mule does not have a rear wiper. It is also possible that the new generation HR-V may use a hidden rear wiper for better aesthetics.
The 2027 Honda HR-V could be larger in size, although this is not clear from the spy shot. Considering the total amount of changes on the back side, one can expect significant changes on the front side as well. The new HR-V can get updates in lighting elements, front grille and bumper. The side profile could be refreshed with a new design of alloy wheels.

The new Honda HR-V is expected to get advanced features like S+ shift system. It was recently introduced with the new Prelude. This setup is planned to be offered as standard in all upcoming Honda HEV models.
With the S+ Shift system, users can receive the feedback needed to establish a feeling of oneness with the vehicle. The system enables upshifts and downshifts to suit the driving conditions and environment. The driver can use the gears and paddle shifters like a normal car with a standard transmission system. Honda HR-V launched in India?
As of now, there don’t seem to be any plans to introduce the HR-V in India. However, Honda has announced a major product offensive for the Indian market. A total of 10 new products will be introduced here, out of which seven will be SUVs. These will include both mass-market and premium segments. Those that have been confirmed include the production version of the Honda 0 Alpha electric SUV. Going forward, apart from Japan and America, India will be an important market for Honda.
