Third generation Creta interior – what’s new?
One of the major updates is Hyundai’s Plios Connect, which integrates various functions from the infotainment, instrumentation and connectivity systems. Hyundai had announced the Plios Connect next-gen infotainment system just a few days ago. It will soon be launched in a production vehicle.

The first Hyundai car to be powered by Pleos Connect will be the new Grandeur in South Korea, while in Europe it will be seen in the new IONIQ 3. For India, it will probably be the new Creta that will be the first to get Pleos Connect. By 2030, Plios Connect will power more than 20 million cars from the Hyundai Group (Hyundai, Kia and Genesis brands).
Plios Connect is the symbol of Creta Software-defined vehicle (SDV) changesEnabling advanced digital features. Compared with the existing model that uses dual screens, the new generation Creta uses a larger center screen. It will give users access to the new Glio AI assistant and a modular app market.

Since many of the functions of a conventional instrument screen are integrated into the central display, only one compact screen is obtained on the driver’s side to display the necessary data. It is located directly in front in the driver’s line of sight. with plios, OTA updates don’t just cover OS upgrades But it also includes powertrain tuning/enhancements and suspension tweaks. Software updates operate independently of the hardware, ensuring that the vehicle’s technology stack remains future-ready.

Another important update is the new position of the gear selector. it has been done transferred to steering columnWhere it acts as a shift-by-wire stalk. A similar setup can be seen with the Ioniq 5. With the repositioned gear selector, the cabin feels neat. This has also helped create a larger storage space under the center console. Other major updates include flush-fitted air vents and a more immersive ambient lighting setup.

external update
The new generation Hyundai Creta is expected to be larger in size and get larger 19-inch alloy wheels. These updates will ensure a more effective appearance for the SUV. The new Creta is expected to get modern pixel-style lighting elements and Hyundai’s 4-dot logo at the front. The front fascia is now more upright and a longer hood line can also be seen. Earlier spy shots had revealed the presence of dual front radar. it could mean something Significant additions to autonomous features Level 2+ ADAS package.

AWD hybrid powertrain, multi-link rear suspension
The new generation Creta will also be offered in hybrid option along with petrol and diesel options. The Creta Hybrid is likely to be a flagship offering, which is expected to use updated software for better energy management through the Pleos OS as well as ‘smart regenerative’ braking, which aims to increase fuel efficiency especially in city conditions. The top variant will get AWD with multi-link rear suspension, as seen in the spy shots. It remains to be seen whether this hybrid powertrain will be available at launch or will be introduced later.

The updates introduced with the new generation Creta will eventually be available with the Seltos as well. However, there will be a time gap, allowing the Creta to dominate technically for a specific period. Even with the arrival of next generation/new cars like Sierra, Seltos and Duster, the current Creta continues to be the best selling car in the segment. With the kind of updates the 2027 Creta is getting, it has every possibility of maintaining its dominance in this segment.
